We all assembled at the college at 8 a.m. and left the college in a van. We reached the factory at 10 oclock. An engineer-in-charge of achievement received us at the entrance and gave a outline introduction to the factory. We were given masks to be worn. Then he took us ar ound from one naval division to the next and explained the swear out involved in the making of tyres. The organiseers were doing the work concentrated. Everyone was wearing masks. He showed how oxygen would be supplied in shell of any harmful leak, etc. A some robots are also employed to do certain repetitive pocket-size operations. The visit came to an wind up at 3.00p.m. We left the premises at 3.30p.m. It was an informative, interesting and a successful visit. As students of Mechanical Engineering. We acquire a few Mechanical applications and about industrial robotics. We extract our thanks to the wizard who permitted us to go on the visit, the faculty members who accompanied us and the officials who explained the various departments.
